South Brisbane's premier cricket team kicked off the season with a strong performance, securing a win in their opening match against Western Suburbs. However, they faced tough competition in subsequent games, falling short against Ipswich and Gold Coast. In round 2 Souths fell short against Northern Suburbs, Sandgate and Wynnum but came away with a great win against Toombul. Despite these setbacks, South Brisbane remain a formidable contender as they look ahead to their next challenge, against the Valley District Cricket club.
